| Ownership of the University Pan-African University is owned by African Development Foundation (ADF), a Nigerian, not-for-profit Educational Trust managed by a board of its Registered Trustees. The current chairman of the board of trustees is Mr. Pascal G. Dozie. The board of trustees is responsible for guaranteeing the institutional mission of the University. It is also responsible for making appointments to the Governing Council of the University.
