University Management Council
The University Management Council assists the Vice-Chancellor in discharging his duties and is responsible to the Governing Council for the development and implementation of the Strategic Plan, the annual objectives and the financial budgets of the University. It also has responsibility for the day to day management and administration of the University.
Matters referred to the Governing Council of the University, appointments of members of Management Teams of faculties and schools (except Deans, who are appointed by the Governing Council), and appointments to the Senate of non-ex officio members, have to be approved by the University Management Council.
